Robert and Laura Keeley

Laura Keeley is the Director of Children’s Ministries at Fourteenth Street Christian Reformed Church in Holland, MI. She is also the author of Walk With Me, (the book supporting the year of faith formation for the Christian Reformed Church) and a number of curriculum units for Faith Alive Resources, most recently for their We intergenerational curriculum.

Robert Keeley is professor of Education at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI. He is the author of two college math textbooks as well as Helping Our Children Grow in Faith (Baker, 2008) and the editor of Shaped by God (Faith Alive Resources, 2010). He has also written a number of articles, reviews and curriculum units and has spoken about faith and children in churches and at conferences across North America. He has a Ph.D. from the University of Denver in Educational Psychology.Together Bob and Laura have written a number of articles, curriculum units, chapters, twelve Christmas plays for children and the books Together We Worship (Christian Schools International, 2008) and Celebrating the Milestones of Faith (Faith Alive Resources, 2009). For the past several years, we at Princeton have used their children's Christmas programs with great success.

Last year their church received a Worship Renewal Grant from Calvin Institute of Christian Worship (CICW) that focused on the Psalms, Vertical Habits and visual arts. Laura was the project director and Bob was a member of the grant committee. This summer they have been working on a project for CICW about Children and the Psalms.

Bob and Laura have four children who are now mostly out of the house but still show up to eat their food and listen to their advice. OK, not so much the advice part, but they do come over to eat.
